Gluten Free Garlic Butter Pizza Pull-apart French Bread!

The photos really don’t do this beautiful appetizer justice! This is a LARGE (football sized) loaf of French bread stuffed to perfection with lots of melted garlic butter, sauce pepperoni & cheese.

This is one of those you wont believe its gluten free recipes! It is the perfect thing to throw together to eat while watching football on a Sunday! If you use my French bread recipe you'll end up with a LARGE loaf of bread with a beautiful crust and soft fluffy interior. The bread recipe itself is gluten, dairy and egg free and this recipe can be modified to become dairy free/vegan as well if you wish. Store bought bread can be used too.

Making the Gluten Free French bread may feel intimidating but its honestly one of my most user friendly gluten free bread recipes. The steps to make it aren’t overly complicated! You can make that bread a day in advance or even a week or two in advance if you freeze it right after it has fully cooled. Either way- it will crisp up beautifully in the oven. The bread is perfect for slicing & it holds together like a dream. It is in every sense of the word REAL bread. You’ll be blown away by how amazing it turns out & so impressed with yourself for having made it.

Here is the direct link to the French bread recipe also here in the club. You’ll want to make that first UNLES you are opting for a store bought loaf of bread instead.

Another option is to use my crusty dutch oven artisan round loaf!! It will also taste really delicious. My French bread is a little bit fluffier& I think its a little easier to make but you really cant go wrong using either bread. :)

If you only own a dutch oven- then the artisan round loaf if your best option. If you own a pizza stone or baking steel then I would go with the newer French bread loaf. The French loaf is also egg free whole the artisan round is not. But again.. both recipes are phenomenal. Either will taste amazing.

Feel free to get creative with the toppings that you choose to stuff into the nooks and crannies of the bread. Sausage, olives, sundried tomatoes. fresh baby tomatoes cut into slices. different types of cheese, fresh herbs and spices mixed into the butter. Whatever your heart desires throw it in as you really cant go wrong.

Notes

If you would like to make this bread Vegan use dairy free butter of choice, violife cheese as it melts the best in the oven & omit the pepperoni.

Using pesto or any traditional pizza toppings would taste great. For example crumbled sausage, mozzarella and garlic butter would taste fantastic.
